The granddaughter of a traditional jeweller, Marika Svikis has always had an eye for design. With a background in architecture, the designer hit the ground running in 2017 with the launch of her own jewellery label - svikis. - and her debut Ando Collection, drawing upon influences of Japanese architect Tadao Ando.
The Ando Collection features 3d printed rings that are simple yet elegant, and look amazing when stacked or worn on their own as a statement piece. The collection is designed with architectural precision, and represents a love for minimalism, clean lines and industrial look + feel.
2018 sees svikis. continue to grow, with the launch of the Fujimoto Collection which features 3d printed pendants inspired by another contemporary Japanese architect, Sou Fujimoto.
